Frequently asked questions
- Are these facilities mobile?
Yes, regardless of the size of the object, it is possible to move even to other continents.
- Is it possible to increase the area of the home / office / restaurant in the future?
Absolutely. The object can grow along with your needs. This advantage is particularly beneficial when developing a business or enlarging your family. It's important to plan for the possibility of increasing the area at the stage of the original design. Containers can also be attached to permanent buildings or used as an additional floor. The possibilities are endless.
- What does the basic scope of container adaptation include?
The basic scope includes: new marine container (one way), container construction changes, polyurethane spray insulation, internal wall and ceiling construction, water and sewage installation, electrical installation (sockets, connectors), plasterboard buildings, wall finishing and painting, window and door woodwork (PVC anthracite, 3-glass packet), flashings, and outdoor painting.
- How does the offer and order process work?
To prepare an initial quote, we need a drawing with a description, reference photos, or a 3D project specifying the functional requirements. We then prepare a 3D project and individual project quote. After accepting the offer and agreeing on all details, we prepare a technical specification to ensure the object meets your expectations.
- What are the dimensions of sea containers?
We typically use 10, 20, and 40-feet containers. Standard containers are 2.59m high, while HC (High Cube) containers are 2.89m high. The width is standard at 2.44m. Lengths vary: 10-feet (2.89m), 20-feet (6.06m), and 40-feet (12.19m).
- How is thermal insulation and container heating designed?
We use closed-cell polyurethane foam (80-100mm thick) for walls and ceilings, supplemented with mineral wool (50mm). Floor insulation uses 50mm closed-cell polyurethane. This insulation is adapted to Central European climate conditions. We recommend electric heaters or monoblock air conditioners with heating for temperature control.
