Containers as Sports Spaces — It's Now a Reality
Shipping containers have long been associated with storage and transport. At HARDBOX, we've been proving for years that this is just one of their possible lives. Our latest project takes things even further — a skate park space built from 40HC and 20HC containers, prepared for skateboarding installations and ready to operate in 6–10 weeks.
The offer was created for a client in the sports industry and includes three variants tailored to different needs and budgets.
Three Options — One Concept
Option A — 2x 40HC Container (~12 x 2.4 m)
Two 40HC containers placed in parallel with cut internal walls, a sliding corrugated steel gate (opening ~4.0 x 2.8 m), VSG safety glass windows on side walls and full electrical installation. Price: 88,929 PLN gross.
Option B — 2x 20HC Container (~6 x 2.4 m)
A compact variant for smaller spaces — two 20HC containers with the same features as Option A. Price: 68,880 PLN gross.
Option C — 3x 40HC Containers Side by Side (~12 x 7.5 m)
The largest variant: three 40HC containers joined side by side create an open hall of approximately 90 m². The middle container has both long walls removed — the result is a unified, partition-free space. This option uses a container locking system (bridge fitting), joint sealing and drainage, and a minimum of 4 steel support columns. Price: 147,846 PLN gross.
Safety First
All glazing is made from VSG laminated glass with PVB film — it does not shatter on impact, meeting safety standards for sports facilities. The lower edge of all windows and glazing starts at 40 cm from the floor, eliminating the risk of accidental contact during riding.

Project Terms
Lead time is 6–8 weeks for Options A and B, and 8–10 weeks for Option C, from contract signing and deposit payment. Payment is split into three stages: 40% deposit, 40% upon container delivery, 20% upon final handover. Warranty: 24 months on structural works, 12 months on electrical installation.
